Diesel Particulate Filter Regeneration

A closed-type Diesel Particulate Filter removes typically above 90% of particulate matter from the exhaust gas. The particles are trapped in the filter, and within a few hours of operation of the vehicle, the filter will block if it is not regenerated before.

Dinex offers all filters in various configurations, all supporting different Regeneration Strategies that suits different driving patterns:

  • Passive Regeneration, for vehicles operating mainly under long haulage
  • Assisted Regeneration, with additives or pre-cat-solutions that promotes regeneration on regional driving
  • Active Regeneration, for vehicles operating in urban traffic or is idling most of its operation time.

Dinex can assist you in choosing the correct regeneration strategy for your needs.
