To retrofit for EURO V & VI - PM and NOx emission levels, Dinex offers the DiNOx system. The system is a combination of a particulate filter and a Selective Catalyst Reduction (SCR) system. This combination allows an optimal emission reduction in terms of NOx, CO, CH and PM.
What makes this system unique is the emission reduction in two stages. In the first stage, there is a ceramic filter DiSiC® in which up to 99% of the particulates are collected and catalytically burned. Residual hydrocarbons (HC) and carbon monoxide (CO) are also burnt in the same stage.
Selective Catalytic Reduction - SCR
In the next stage, the amount of NOx in the exhaust gases is measured and the correct amount of urea, known as AdBlue, is injected. In a selective catalytic converter, the Adblue reacts with NOx to form nitrogen and water and thereby ensure an 80% or above NOx reduction.
Easy adjustable system
The DiNOx® system is very easy to adjust to any kind of diesel engine and application. The result is not only environmentally beneficial but also visually, since the exhaust smoke, from buses for instance, is almost invisible.
