EURO Norms

Up until the introduction of the EURO IV norms in 2005 all systems were traditional exhaust systems with the purpose of reducing noise.

In other words, it was all about metalwork.

After 2005 the European Union introduced new emission regulations implementing new aftertreatment systems for trucks, buses and vans.

All EURO IV and V systems for trucks and buses are mostly selective catalytic reduction (SCR) systems being more complex with regards to system integration and tooling.

Vans mostly use diesel oxidation catalysts (DOC) and diesel particulate filter (DPF) solutions to achieve EURO emission regulations. Dinex master the entire system integration from development, testing and production to insure matching quality with original equipment (OE) emission requirements. uses cookies for the functionality on the website and to collect data.
